DECREE 164/2022, of September 30, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to improve the competitiveness of the artisan sector of Extremadura, and approves the first call corresponding to the year 2023.
The eligible activities will be the following:
1. Investments to improve efficiency and production processes in artisan workshops:
a) The reform, modernization, conditioning and expansion of existing artisan workshops, including the transfer of production premises as long as they implement some of the measures mentioned in sections b and c below.
b) The introduction of numerical control systems, as well as integral solutions in energy efficiency, digitization and automation of production processes.
c) Investments aimed at optimizing energy consumption in workshops, as well as improving energy efficiency in production processes, including the adoption of measures to reduce the carbon footprint, the acquisition of equipment, machinery, tools and more efficient tools.
d) The acquisition of more efficient equipment, machinery, tools and tools.
e) The adaptation and equipment of production facilities, improvement of the organization of work, operations and internal logistics processes.
f) Design equipment and applications.
2. Improvement of the conditions of management and commercialization of artisan products:
a) Investments aimed at optimizing energy consumption in sales rooms.
b) The adaptation of spaces and premises for sales rooms attached to the workshop, as long as they implement the measures mentioned in the previous section.
c) The necessary commercial equipment and furniture, signage and labeling of the sales room.
d) Edition of product catalogs on any type of support.
e) Design and development and reform of the website, including the design of catalogs in electronic format.
f) The acquisition of software to improve the business and commercial management of the artisan company.
g) Payment management teams.
Requirements of the beneficiaries:
1. Natural and legal persons, including community property and other groups without their own legal personality, who are registered in the Register of Artisans and Artisan Companies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, may be beneficiaries of the aid regulated in this decree.
2. The new artisans may also be beneficiaries, understanding as such natural or legal persons, including community property and other groups without their own legal personality, who, not being registered in said Registry, have previously requested registration in it. to the end date of the term for the presentation of applications, in the terms and conditions established in this decree.
3. The beneficiaries must carry out their activity in the territory of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura.
