The COOPERATIVA DEL CAMPO SANTA LUCÍA DE VALDASTILLAS S.C.L. It was established in 1961 with 13 partners, currently 90. Since its inception it has been dedicated, as its main activity, to the collection of cherries.

The cooperative has been and continues to be the base of the economic activity of the municipality, and the reference of the commercial management of cherries and figs in its area. In addition to marketing these two products, cherries and figs, they help farmers in their tasks through agricultural advice, management of CAP aid, provision of fertilizers, phytosanitary, tools and spare parts, etc.

Their previous facilities were too small for the impulse and business growth that the cooperative was achieving, with expansion being impossible in that location, they decided to transfer, expand and modernize their activity to the industrial estate of the Valdastillas municipality. The new facilities have the necessary spaces for the development of the activity: cold rooms, warehouses, production and processes area, engine room, offices, courtroom, toilets and changing rooms, dining room, etc.
